BuckLab Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and WH LABS LLC ("BuckLab," "we," "us"), 181 W Valley Ave, Ste 245, Birmingham, AL 35209, United States. By using the BuckLab app, you agree to them.

What BuckLab is — and isn't

BuckLab gives you AI-generated estimates of a whitetail buck's age class and antler score from trail-camera photos. Every result is an estimate, presented as a range with a confidence level. No one — human expert or AI — can age or score a wild, free-ranging buck exactly from photographs, and BuckLab doesn't claim to. Results are educational tools to inform your own judgment. You are responsible for your own hunting decisions and for following all game laws and regulations that apply to you. Don't rely on BuckLab as your sole basis for any harvest, legal, or commercial decision.

Your account

You can try BuckLab as a guest; creating a full account (Sign in with Apple or email) saves your bucks, photos, and credits. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping access to your account secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account.

Credits and purchases

Evaluations cost credits. Credits are purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system; prices are shown before you buy, and payment and any refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and aren't redeemable for money. If an analysis comes back unusable (for example, the photos don't show enough to evaluate), the credit is automatically returned to your balance. We may change credit pricing and free-credit grants; changes won't take away credits you've already purchased.

Your content

You own your photos. By uploading them you confirm you have the right to do so, and you grant WH LABS LLC a license to store, process, and display them as needed to operate the app — including sending them to our AI provider to produce your result and using them internally to improve BuckLab's accuracy, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you create an opinion link, you choose what gets shared and with whom.

Acceptable use

Don't use BuckLab for anything unlawful. Don't upload content you don't have rights to, or content that's illegal or harmful. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service, circumvent credit accounting, or abuse shared opinion links.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app; deletion permanently removes your data and forfeits any remaining credits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

BuckLab is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including any warranty that estimates will be accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WH LABS LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to BuckLab is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use BuckLab after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
